Wedding Films — United Kingdom
We film your wedding, edit on location, and screen the finished film for all your guests that same evening. A concept we've been perfecting for 25 years — still almost impossible to find in Britain.
Throughout your wedding day, our cameraman captures every atmosphere, every glance, every unrepeatable moment. Unobtrusive. Unhurried. Entirely focused on your story.
Halfway through the day, our editor arrives on location and begins cutting your footage into a beautiful 5–7 minute wedding film. By the evening, it's ready — screened on a large screen for all your guests, including those who couldn't be there during the day.
Barely a handful of videographers in the UK offer anything close to this — and none with the same depth of experience. We've been doing it for 25 years.
Every UK wedding film company will deliver your film.
We deliver it before your wedding day is over.
A Beautiful Day
Every other wedding film company
A Beautiful Day started in the Netherlands in 2005 — and spent 25 years perfecting a single idea: your wedding film, finished and screened the same evening. What began as something new in Den Haag has since travelled to Sri Lanka, Curaçao, Italy, Scotland, and beyond.
The UK is a natural next chapter. The venues are extraordinary, the couples are discerning — and the concept fits perfectly. The same system, the same team, the same standard. Now available across the UK.

"Imagine sitting with all your guests that evening, watching your wedding film together for the first time."A Beautiful Day — Charlotte & Nick, UK · September 2025
England, Sri Lanka, Curaçao, Italy, France, Spain, America, Morocco, Switzerland, Norway. The same-day edit travels wherever the couple does. Different countries, different venues, different light — same commitment to delivering the film that same evening.
The UK is the next chapter — and we bring 25 years of doing exactly this: filming your day, editing on location, and screening the film before the evening is over.
A Beautiful Day International — selected weddings
Based on your schedule, our cameraman arrives in the morning to capture your preparations. One camera, one story — we stay close without getting in the way.
We document every moment as it naturally unfolds — ceremony, emotion, details, dancing. Unobtrusive and always present for the moments that matter.
Our editor arrives on location and begins cutting your film — right there, while the party continues. A 5–7 minute film, edited with craft and care.
The film is ready. The room goes quiet. Your wedding film plays on the big screen, for everyone who loves you — an ending to your day that no one forgets.
Alongside our professional camera, we film with the Ray-Ban Meta — smart glasses with a built-in camera. No bulky equipment, no tripod, no crew member hovering at the edge of your ceremony.
The glasses capture moments from a human point of view — eye contact, whispered words, unguarded reactions. The kind of footage that's simply impossible to get any other way. Guests don't even notice we're filming.
Still virtually unseen in UK wedding filmmaking. It's one more reason the footage we bring home looks like nothing else.

Delivered within 6 weeksFried-jan was a television cameraman. When his friend Marcel asked him to film his wedding, he almost said no. In those days, being a wedding videographer was seen as something you did if you'd failed as a photographer. It had no status. He wanted nothing to do with it.
Then, on a diving holiday in Australia, he met a guy on the boat who filmed every dive — and the next day, the moment they returned to the harbour, handed everyone a DVD with an edit. Ready. Fried-jan thought: "If he can do that on a boat, I can do it at a wedding."
The early technique was hard and slow. But Wendy — the bride — hadn't had a single moment to herself all day. She hadn't even heard 'Beautiful Day' by U2. Fried-jan decided to use it as the soundtrack, cut the film, and screen it before the evening party began.
It was a massive success. The name of the company wrote itself.
Wendy & Marcel — The very first A Beautiful Day wedding film
"Wendy hadn't had a single moment to herself all day. She hadn't even heard 'Beautiful Day' by U2. I thought — that's the soundtrack."

We've been doing this for 25 years — and the people who hired us for their wedding keep calling back. For a 50th birthday. A milestone anniversary. A family reunion that happens once a decade. Sometimes a second wedding.
The approach is the same: arrive, film, edit on location, screen the same evening. The only thing that changes is the occasion.
50, 60, 70 — a milestone that gathers everyone who matters. Filmed that day, screened that evening, kept forever.
Once every five or ten years, everyone stands in the same place. That deserves more than phone footage. We capture it properly.
Sometimes the most beautiful day is someone's second chance. We've filmed those too — with the same attention, the same care.
Retirement parties. Anniversaries. Graduations. If it matters enough to gather the people you love — it matters enough to film.
"We are here for the moments you only experience once —
and want to be able to relive for the rest of your life."
Twenty years ago, Fried-jan had a straightforward idea: the most important day of someone's life deserves a film they can watch that same evening — not weeks later. He was the first in the Netherlands to bring an editor on location and screen the finished film for the guests that very night.
Since then, he's filmed hundreds of weddings — from The Hague to the Scottish Highlands, from London country houses to destinations across the world. He brings the same obsession with authentic, unobtrusive filmmaking to every wedding, wherever it is.
Founder & Cameraman — A Beautiful Day
After 25 years of telling couples that their wedding film should be ready the same evening — Fried-jan got married himself in 2013. So naturally, the editor was there. And naturally, the film played that night.
He couldn't very well not, could he.
"If I'd delivered everyone else's film that same evening and then not done it at my own wedding — I'd never have heard the end of it."
— Fried-jan van den Eerenbeemt
